CEO Mukesh Kumar Meena calls for early preparations for 2024 General Elections in AP

Visakhapatnam: Chief electoral officer M.K. Meena held a video conference with district collectors on Friday to discuss advance preparations for the 2024 General Elections.

Manyam district collector Nishant Kumar assured that the district has already prepared advance action plans for the elections. He said that there are four legislative constituencies in Manyam, and the district will require 1,031 polling stations, 154 routes, 154 sectoral officers, 154 sectoral police officers, 440 micro-observers, 1,237 presiding officers, 4,948 polling officers, and 20 nodal officers. He also said that the district has an estimated requirement of 1,750 security personnel for the elections.

The chief electoral officer urged all district collectors to start preparations for the elections early so that they can be conducted smoothly and efficiently.
