Visakhapatnam: Deputy Chief Minister Budi Mutyala Naidu on Sunday handed over a cheque of Rs 5 lakh to Lakkavarapu Prasad (49) of Tavavanipalem village in Sabbavaram mandal in Anakapalli district.
Prasad worked as a driver and lost his leg in an accident. Following this incident, he and his family sent an application seeking help to Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Following this, the CM sanctioned Rs 5 lakh to Prasad from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
Handing over the cheque, Muthyalanaidu said Jagan Mohan Reddy has supported many poor people suffering from health problems by providing relief to them from the CM’s relief fund.
Prasad's family members have expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister for helping them.
