Hyderabad: After receiving a complaint from the Assistant Divisional Engineer, TSSPDCL, the Meerpet police have booked a case against a water plant owner for not clearing overdue bills and assaulting a public servant. The cops have apprehended the water plant owner and remanded him to judicial custody.
According to the police, while the TSSPDCL staff were examining their list of defaulters, they noticed that the accused water plant unit owed them Rs 30,882 in overdue bills. Following this observation, they disconnected his water connection.
Further, a malpractice case was booked against him with a due amount of Rs 48,000. Meerpet sub-inspector of police Sk Mybelly said, “The accused K.
