Warangal to be transformed into a health city: KTR

Warangal: The Telangana Government is determined to develop Warangal into a health city and as part of this endeavour, it is constructing the state’s biggest hospital in Warangal, said IT Minister KT Rama Rao here on Friday.

The minister inaugurated the innovation and incubation centre at Kakatiya Institute of Technological Sciences (KITS) college in Yerragattu Gutta, Hasanparthy mandal, and later inaugurated the BRS party office in Balasamudram, as also a science park in the government high school and a model crematorium (Vaikunta Dhamam) in the Vajpayee Colony in Hanamkonda.

Addressing a large gathering at the playground of a private school in Kazipet, Rama Rao ended the speculations about the BRS allocation of the Warangal West assembly ticket in the upcoming polls.

Announcing that the BRS ticket will be given to Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar, the minister urged the people to ensure his victory.

Referring to BJP state chief Bandi Sanjay, the minister said, “One BJP leader along with others indulged in the question paper leak to spoil the bright future of the students. After the police caught these BJP leaders and sent them to jail, such leaks stopped in the state.”

“ If the BJP leaders have guts, they must compete with the BRS party in terms of development and implementation of welfare schemes and bring the railway coach factory to Kazipet,” he said.

He said the Congress party did nothing in 75 years of its rule. “BRS means Bharat Rythu Samithi. Farmers should not be worried about the loss that was incurred to them due to the recent heavy rainfall. The state government would purchase every single foodgrain produced by them even though the colour of the foodgrains change,” he said.

Earlier, Rama Rao inaugurated four IT companies -- LTI Mindtree, Genpact, HRH Next, and Hexad Solutions Pvt. Ltd. The Minister handed over appreciation letters to representatives of the companies for setting up their facilities in Hanamkonda.
