Water supply to be disrupted in parts of Hyderabad on August 7
Hyderabad: Water supply to several places in the city will be interrupted for 24 hours from 6 am of August 7 due to repair works. According to a notice released by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB), the 1200 mm dia PSC pipeline supplying drinking water from Singur has developed a huge leakage at Khanapur.
Shaikpet, Tolichowki, Golconda, Bojagutta reservoir areas, Gandipet, Kokapet, Narsinghi, Puppalaguda, Manikonda, Khanapur, Neknampur and Manchirevula will see disruption in drinking water supply starting from 6 am on August 7 and ending on 6 am on August 8.
The water board advised consumers of the above-mentioned water supply-affected areas to use water sparingly.
