A student of Class 10 in the school had reported that Rs 70 was found missing from her bag.
Following this, the DEO issued show cause notice to the principal of the school.
Bhopal: Two girls, students of Class X in a government high school in a Madhya Pradesh town, were strip-searched by their teacher on suspicion of stealing their friends’ money, officials said on Saturday.
Feeling humiliated by the teacher’s actions, the two victims, students of government high school in district headquarters town of Damoh, have stopped attending classes since Friday, local district education officer (DEO) said. The victims’ parents reported the matter to the DEO.
Following this, the DEO issued show cause notice to the principal of the school.
