Hyderabad: The women wing of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Hyderabad, on Wednesday demonstrated at Indira Gandhi statue, Necklace Road demanding immediate justice for Disha.
City president of the organisation, Ms Zaheer Fatima said there is a need to take concrete steps to check such heinous crimes against women.
“We demand total prohibition and removal of vulgar content from social media, films and advertisements,” she said.
Ms Fatima said, “If our Chief Minister desires that girls should be educated, he has to ensure complete protection of girls and women so that they can feel secure and can move freely and lead their lives without fear .”
