Congress MLAs begin lobbying for cabinet berths
Adilabad: The legislator-elects of the Congress, including the Gaddam brothers Vivek and Vinod and Kokkirala Premsagar Rao, representing Chennur, Bellampalli and Mancherial respectively, have started lobbying for ministerial berths in the Cabinet through various channels.
It may be recalled that it was at the behest of TPCC chief A. Revanth Reddy that Vivek, who was with BJP, had joined the Congress.
Vedama Bojju, a first-timer from Khanpur and a close associate of Revanth Reddy, is hoping to be accommodated under the ST community quota.
CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, who won from Madhira, is aspiring for a top position in the cabinet while Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy and Tummala Nageswara Rao, who won from Peleru and Khammam, are also in the race.
