Warangal: Warangal police issued notices to Huzurabad BJP legislator Etala Rajendar and two of his personal assistants, Raju and Narendar, in the SSC Hindi question paper leakage case here on Thursday.
In their remand report on the issue, police named BJP state chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar as accused number one and former journalist Boora Prashant as accused number two in the SSC question paper leak case.
According to police, Prashant sent the question paper to Rajendar, Raju and Narendar after sending it to Sanjay through WhatsApp.
Warangal police commissioner A.V. Ranganath said that police would be taking the statements of Rajendar and his two associates.
Meanwhile, police officials are investigating the reasons for choosing the Government Boys School in Kamalapur for leaking the Telugu and Hindi question papers.
As Rajendar is a native of Kamalapur mandal, the police decided to approach him for more information regarding the leak.
Police officials said that they will issue notices to the group admins of WhatsApp groups which carried the paper.
