Chandrababu Naidu hails space agency achievement
The launch gives India self-reliance in delivering large payloads and preparing the country for its future attempts.
Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu congratulated the team of scientists, instrumental in the successful launch of the GSLV-3D1. The Indian Space Research Organiation (Isro) on Monday, launched its heaviest rocket to date, Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle Mark III (GSLV Mk III), with 3,136 kg communication satellite GSAT-19 from Sriharikota, in Andhra Pradesh.
The launch gives India self-reliance in delivering large payloads and preparing the country for its future attempts. Praising the efforts of the scientists, in a release on Monday, the CM has stated the nation should celebrate the occasion.
