Visakhapatnam: A young woman was saved from harassment by the Disha SOS app in Visakhapatnam.
The woman was walking to a grocery shop when she was followed and harassed by two men. She immediately activated the Disha SOS app on her phone and the police were alerted.
The police reached the spot within six minutes and arrested the two men. The men apologised to the woman and begged for her forgiveness. The woman agreed to forgive them but asked them to never do it again.
The police counseled the men and released them. The woman thanked the police for their timely response and said that she felt safe using the Disha SOS app.
