Verify call data of accused in Srinivas murder: Komatireddy Venkata Reddy

Hyderabad: Former minister Komatireddy Venkata Reddy, the Deputy Leader of the Congress Legislative Party, on Tuesday demanded that the Nalgonda police investigate the Boddupalli Srinivas murder case based on the call data of the accused, without taking cognizance of Minister Jagadiswar Reddy’s statement that the call data was fake. He said that it was a shame that a Minister like him, who did not appreciate the severity of the issue, continued to be a part of the Cabinet.

Mr Venkata Reddy said that a CBI probe would reveal whether the call data was fake or genuine. He added that Mr Jagadiswar Reddy had failed to condemn the murder from the very beginning.

He said that had TRS leaders not been involved in the incident, he would have condemned it and consoled the victim’s family.
