GUNTUR: The BJP is hopeful about strengthening the party in AP. The leaders of the BJP predicted about their party becoming single largest party in AP in the next two years by gathering public support from grass-root levels. The 37th BJP Formation Day was celebrated at Guntur on Thursday in which the BJP leaders discussed about the measures to take the party to all sections of the society. BJP Guntur district president N. Venkata Rao said that the BJP-led Union government was helping the state in its development by allotting huge funds after AP bifurcation and the Andhra public are being attracted to the BJP due to its transparent governance and welfare schemes.
He said that the BJP cadre are visiting every nook and corner of the rural and urban areas to strengthen the party in AP and this would be helpful to the BJP in the next election.
BJP district secretary P. Ramakrishna also spoke on the occasion.
