Make YSRC mass outreach campaign success: Speaker Sitaram

Visakhapatnam: Assembly Speaker Tammineni Sitaram has appealed to the leaders and party workers to make the ''Jagananne Ma Bhavishyattu'' a success in the region.

Sitaram inaugurated the programme in his home constituency Amadalavalasa in Srikakulam district on Friday and said the programme would continue till April 20. Party leaders should visit every village and create a festive atmosphere during this 14-day programme, he proposed.

"We will get an opportunity to directly meet 1.6 crore families under this programme,’’ Sitaram said and appealed to the conveners and 'Grihasaradhulu' to work with the energy of soldiers. “It is due to the massive welfare push by this government that the party leaders are able to knock every door in the state now,” he said.

In Pathapatnam, local MLA Reddy Shanti appealed to the volunteers and conveners of Ganguvada, Temburu, Baddumarri, Peddalogidi to make the programme a success.

Deputy speaker Kolagatla Veerabhadra Swamy asked women whether they were getting all the benefits launched by the YSRC government during the last four years. While launching the mass contact programme in his Vizianagaram constituency, he asked the women how they felt about chief minister Jagan Reddy’s rule.

Former minister and Kurupam MLA Pamula Pushpa Sreevani visited Sivannapeta village and met people to enquire with them about the welfare schemes.

State industries minister Gudivada Amarnath launched the programme in Tummapala village under Anakapalle mandal. He visited several homes and interacted with the people. When some issues were brought to his notice, he asked the officials to solve them immediately.

Minister Jogi Ramesh spoke to women in Pedana in Krishna district and asked them whether they got all the benefits. Pamarru MLA Anil Kumar also spoke to women and the elderly. In Penumuluru segment, local MLA Kolusu Parthasarthi interacted with students and women on the benefits of the welfare schemes.

Kanigiri MLA Burra Madhusudhan Yadav launched the programme in Rakshanapuram village under Hanumanthunipadu mandal and interacted with the volunteers.

Former minister and Ongole MLA Balineni Srinivasa said he would visit every house in the constituency for the next 14 days and enquire about the implementation of schemes launched by Chief Minister Jagan.

Darsi MLA Maddisetti Venugopal launched the programme at the local secretariat while Anaparthi MLA Satti Suryanarayana unveiled it in Singapalli village. Endowment minister Kottu Satyanarayana held an awareness programme for the volunteers in Tadepalligudem.

In Aluru, Kurnool district, local MLA Gummanuru Jayaram said he would explain to the people about the Jagan rule and contrast this with the “misrule” of Chandrababu Naidu during his door to door campaign.

Deputy chief minister and Kadapa MLA Amjad Basha in his interaction with the people said Jagan Reddy was “the only leader who told the people to bless him if they were happy with his rule.”

Minister Peddyredy Ramachandra, while speaking in Punganur village, said he would create awareness among the people about the state government’s good efforts. Deputy chief minister Narayana Swamy had a meeting with the volunteers while tourism minister RK Rojas launched the programme in Kadiri.
