Vijayawada: YSRC government has affected a major shake-up in administration, with AP Chief Secretary Dr. K.S. Jawahar Reddy issuing orders late on Thursday night transferring over 50 IAS officers.
As per the orders, G. Anantha Ramu, special chief secretary (Labour, Factories, Boilers and Insurance Medical Services) has been transferred and posted as special chief secretary (Minorities Welfare), relieving A. Md. Imtiaz, who had been holding its full additional charge.
R.P. Sisodia, who had been awaiting posting, will be Director General, A.P. Human Resources Development Institute, relieving J. Syamala Rao from its full additional charge.
Services of B. Sreedhar, M.D, GENCO, and CMD, TRANSCO (FAC) have been withdrawn from the Energy Department. He has been posting member secretary, A.P. Pollution Control Board, relieving Sri Pravin Kumar from its full additional charge.
Saurabh Gaur, secretary (ITE & C) has been transferred to take over as resident commissioner of AP Bhavan in New Delhi. Advisor to government Adityanath Das has been relieved from the full additional charge of principal resident commissioner.
Kona Sasidhar, commissioner (Panchayat Raj & Rural Development) will take over as secretary (ITE & C).
K. Harshavardhan, director (Social Welfare) has been is transferred and posted as VC & MD, Sports Authority of AP. He will, however, continue to hold full additional charge as secretary, AP SC Commission until further orders.
