Tantrik's day out in Chhattisgarh Assembly
Bhopal: A bizarre row has erupted over a “tantrik” performing a “special pooja” in the premises of Chhattisgarh Assembly to “ensure fourth consecutive term” in power in the state for the ruling BJP in the year-end polls.
The “tantrik” sporting vermilion on his forehead and necklaces of weird metallic objects was spotted inside the Chhattisgarh assembly on Thursday rubbing shoulders with VVIPs including chief minister Raman Singh and speaker Gouri Shankar Agrawal.
The ‘Baba’, who identified himself as Ramlal Kashyap of Mulmula village, later told the local media that he had performed a special pooja inside the premises of the Assembly seeking divine intervention to get BJP fourth consecutive term in power in Chhattisgarh in the forthcoming assembly polls, due in November this year.
