Hyderabad: Narsingi police arrested the owner of the car, Abdul Rehman, that rammed into a mother and her daughter who were on their morning walk on July 4, killing them on the spot.
The 19-year-old driver Badiuddin Quadri was reportedly driving the car at 130 kmph when it hit the victims at Bandlaguda.
To cross-check Badidduin’s statement that he along with Ibrahim, Ganesh and Faizan were going to a friend’s farmhouse in Moinabad to celebrate his birthday, the police team visited to farm house the same day and beer and liquir. Badiuddin’s friends on the coming to know of the accident fled from the farm house, police sources disclosed.
Rehman and Badiuddin are in police custody, police said.
