KREEPA Green power expo to showcase tech, trends
Kochi: KREEPA Green Power Expo 2018–19, being organised by the Kerala Renewable Energy Entrepreneurs’ and Promoters’ Association (KREEPA), in association with the ministry of new and renewable energy, ANERT and Suchitwa Mission, will be held from February 13 to 15 at the Bolgatty Event Centre here. Power Minister M. M. Mani will inaugurate the third edition of the expo on February 13.
Addressing a media conference, Jose Kallookaran C., secretary, KREEPA and expo coordinator, said the three-day exhibition will showcase evolving renewable energy technologies and trends in the sector. It will have around 70 stalls.
“Apart from the technology product exhibits, the event will also feature technical workshops, seminars and panel discussions, product launches and demonstrations. Solar technologies and gadgets, biogas, small wind energy systems, energy efficiency and waste management products will be exhibited in the expo,” he said.
“Solar boat, solar autorickshaw, solar power plant, new technologies in solar panels, solar inverter, solar grid tie inverter, lithium ion batteries and solar batteries will also be exhibited in the expo. A free ride will be arranged for the visitors in the solar boat. A live solar kitchen and live demo of renewable energy equipment will also be arranged in the expo,” Jose Kallookaran said.
As part of the expo seminars will be conducted on various topics, including ‘Batteries or Storage Technologies - Challenges and Opportunities’, ‘Re-integration with Energy Storage’, Electric Vehicles and Charging Stations, ‘Start ups in Renewable Technology sector’ and ‘Entrepreneurships – Opportunities and Challenges’
