Bengaluru: Student stumps PM Modi
The boy next thrust his book and requested Mr Modi for his autograph.
Bengaluru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi was amused when a high school boy asked him how he could occupy the office of President when he grew up.
"Why not the Prime Minister?" was Mr Modi's smiling counter as he threw his arm around the boy's shoulder. The Prime Minister spent a couple of minutes chatting with some 50 high schoolchildren, all winners of a quiz on space, at ISTRAC, after watching an unsuccessful attempt to land 'Vikram' on the Moon, early on Saturday morning.
The boy next thrust his book and requested Mr Modi for his autograph.
Officials declined to identify the boy or share details about him.
Mr Modi advised school children not to ruminate about poor performance in academics but aim higher in future.
