Vishakhapatnam: Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) in Visakhapatnam organised on Sunday two impactful events, a "Prabhat Pheri" morning walk / run and a Swachhata cleanliness drive.
Both the programmes, organised as part of RINL’s Special Campaign 3.0, garnered enthusiastic participation from various stakeholders.
The day started with Prabhat Pheri in the morning from Ukku stadium within the RINL complex, aimed at promoting a healthier lifestyle. Participants walked / ran for three kilometres, passing through Ukkunagaram township's Sector-6 shopping complex and Thrishna grounds, before returning to the Ukku Stadium.
RINL director (Commercial) D.K. Mohanty participated in the event, along with CGM (Medical & Health) K.H. Prakash and Vizag Marathon Association president Balakrishna Roy.
Additionally, Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samithi, Ukkunagaram, collaborated with RINL in conducting a Swachhata drive. The driver started on October 2 and will continue till October 31. Office bearers, youth and community members actively cleaned the area around Sector-2 shopping complex, removing all plastic waste.
