AG Assures HC No Hasty Steps Against Naidu in IRR Case

Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh High Court heard TD president N. Chandrababu Naidu’s plea for anticipatory bail in a case of anomalies in alignment of Amaravati Inner Ring Road and posted the next hearing to November 21.

A single judge bench headed by Justice T. Mallikarjuna Rao heard the plea here on Tuesday.

The Advocate-General representing the AP CID, S. Sriram, assured the court that the CID would not take any hasty steps with regard to the case on Naidu as the court earlier granted an interim bail in the AP skill development scam case up to November 28.

The court recorded his statement and issued direction to extend its order to the ACB special court not to proceed further in the case up to November 28.
