Buggana places foundation for Kapu building in Dhone
Kurnool: Finance minister Buggana Rajendranath laid the foundation for construction of Kapu social welfare building on Tuesday. The building is being constructed at a cost of Rs 3 crore in Dhone.
He inspected the ongoing works being carried out at the Gundala Chennakesava Swamy Temple and Kalyana Mandapam, incurring an expenditure of Rs 10 crore.
Buggana asserted that they have curbed anti-social activities and illegalities in Dhone to a significant extent. He challenged opposition Telugu Desam on development of the area, pointing to ongoing projects in the constituency, including construction of national highway at a cost of Rs 750 crore, laying roads in remote villages like Venkatanaidupalli and Rekulagunta, water grid project of Rs 350 crore, water purification system over eight acres in Bugganipalle, filling of 36 tanks with water, supply of piped water to 24 villages, and allocation of land to 16,000 underprivileged people for housing.
The minister asked opposition leaders to physically check the development carried out in the region before making their comments.
