Hyderabad: Man dead, brother held
Hyderabad: A 40-year-old man was found strangled to death in his house at Bayammagally on Saturday. A Nallakunta police official alleged that his brother was behind the murder.
The police identified victim as S. Ramesh, 40. He had recently left his job as a car driver. He had separated from his wife after five years of marriage and was living alone.
His elder brother S. Venkatesh lives next to his house. Ramesh used to visit the houses of his sisters in Golnaka and Tilaknagar. When he stopped coming, they got suspicious and came to his house in Nallakunta, only to find it locked.
When they got suspicious and broke open the lock they found Ramesh’s body lying there. The police was immediately called, and they began investigations.
Speaking to DC, Nallakunta inspector K. Muralidhar said, “The victim was strangulated. Prime facie it looks like death might have occurred one day ago. We are suspecting a financial dispute behind the murder. A clear motive can be established after a thorough investigation”.
Nallakunta police took Ramesh elder brother into custody on suspicion and is questioning him
