The ten-year-old post-mortem reports of two girls, Julie Varghese, 17, and Anila Babu 17, prove that penetration had happened before the girls ended their lives.
The report about Julie says: “Hypopigmentation (white patches) was noted on the lower half of the right side of the vaginal outlet as well as its back margin.
Dr. Hussian, who is currently professor in the department of forensic medicine, Government Medical College, Mulan kunnathukavu, Thrissur, did not respond to this reporter’s query about the gap between ‘healed tear’ and the death of the students.
Julie Varghese, Anila Babu, and Veni Venu, all aged 17, committed suicide by consuming pesticide.
