Kochi: Minister for local self government A.C. Moideen will inaugurate the construction of 50 houses being built by the government for the flood-affected people at Kottuvally in Paravur on Saturday. The government is constructing 218 houses using the funds provided by DP World.
Meanwhile, Ernakulam collector Muhammad Y. Safirulla on Friday handed over Rs 50,000 each to 33 families whose houses were damaged in the floods. The funds for the aid were raised by the Chittilappally Foundation and V Guard group.
