Karnataka police trying to reach out to former DySP Anupama
Ballari: Amid reports that a team of police officers from Ballari were trying to reach 'incommunicado' Kudligi deputy superintendent of police Anupama Shenoy, the woman officer on Wednesday continued her attack on politicians and police top brass through her Facebook posts, while some reports even indicated that her life could be under threat.
Top police sources said that following the instructions from DG and IGP Om Prakash, Ballari superintendent of police R. Chetan has dispatched a team of police officers to reach out to Anupama Shenoy and her family members.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah had asked state police chief to request her to reconsider her decision to quit the job following her alleged differences with district-in-charge and labour minister P.T. Parameshwar Naik.
Four days after resigning her job, Ms Shenoy has continued to attack politicians and top police officials. In a FB post onWednesday morning, she wrote in Kannada, "So, you threaten me to kill if I release the CD, then I will haunt you as a devil".
On Tuesday evening she had written, "Do you want a CD or an audio tape? along with a hashtag #ParameshiPremaPrasanga and went on to say in another post that she would release CD by midnight as "it is the kind you see after midnight, otherwise children will get spoiled," apparently indicating to expose the minister Naik in a sex scandal. However, so far she has not released any CD.
Taking a dig at politicians, she posted the writing of noted jurist Nani Palkhiwala that sums with a line - "My dog is like the Indian POLITICIAN." On Wednesday evening, uploading the newspaper statement of Assembly Speaker Kagodu Thimmappa saying government servants should be obedient to government and otherwise, everyone knows what happened to the case of DK Ravi (IAS officer who committed suicide), she wrote that she has resigned her job
and now, she is a a commoner.
Ms. Shenoy updated her recent post around 10.40 pm on Wednesday which read - " I am writing my autobiography. I won't retire and write history. #Whatever had to happen yesterday has happened, whatever will happen tomorrow will happen why worry about it now."
