Hyderabad: SFI calls for bandh on July 10 over fees
The bandh posters were released on Monday.
Hyderabad: The Students Federation of India (SFI) and allied student organisations have called for a Telangana state bandh on July 10 to protest against privatisation of schools and increase in the fee. The bandh posters were released on Monday.
An SFI representative said many students were unable to afford quality education because of the privatisation of education and the unaffordable fee structure. “We need the government to control the fee structure. The government should provide more amenities in government schools as well, apart from focusing on the residential schools.”
The ABVP had last week called a schools bandh too.
