Hyderabad: The TS Vigilance Commissioner has received a complaint that out-of-turn promotions have been given to Motor Vehicle Inspectors (MVIs). The promotions were claimed on the basis that the inspectors had high qualifications like PhDs.
The GAD rejected the proposal, but orders for the promotions were issued on recommendations of ministers and the final nod of the CM. A copy of the note-file is available with this newspaper.
