Vijayawada: TD MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna alleged political conspiracy in the arrest of TD supremo N. Chandrababu Naidu by the AP CID police on Saturday.
Maintaining that no evidence was found in the AP Skill Development case, he asked under what law, Naidu was arrested and also asked as to why there was no charge sheet filed even as the FIR was registered on Dec. 19, 2021.
He called it unfortunate on the part of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to target the Opposition parties instead of paying more attention on welfare of the people. He called the AP skill development scam as a big publicity stunt. He said that after Jagan becoming CM, he stopped eating food and instead was getting admonishment from the court in several cases.
He slammed Jagan for behaving in such a way that it was his lifetime ambition to keep Naidu at least for 16 minutes in the jail as he spent 16 months in the jail.
The TD MLA made it clear that they could not be cowed down be implicating our leader Naidu in false cases and vowed to wage a legal battle and fight in the peoples’ court.
