Visakhapatnam: Following Thursday's Group 2 announcement, the APPSC released the Group 1 notification on Friday, offering opportunities for 81 positions across various departments. Government approval for the announcement arrived back in August, but technical difficulties delayed its release.

The details of the posts include 9 deputy collector posts, 18 assistant commissioner in sales tax, 26 DSP posts, 1 DSP in jails department, 1 district fire officer, 6 regional transport officers, 1 district BC welfare officer, 3 district social welfare officers, 10 AP cooperative deputy registrar, 11 Grade II municipal commissioners, 1 assistant excise superintendent, 3 assistant treasury officers, 4 district employment officers, 2 assistant treasury officers and 2 assistant audit officers.
