Nellore: Followers of Anam support mekapati
Nellore: In a bid to put an end to rumours over diffe-rences between YSRC leaders Anam Ramanarayana Reddy and Mekpati Gautham Reddy, both of them, along with former MP Mekpati Rajamo-han Reddy, took part in a programme ‘Anam-Mekpati Aatm-eeya Sammelanam’, arranged by the followers of both the families, in Atmakur on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajamohan Reddy criticised Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu for failing to fulfill 600 odd promises he made before coming to power. He said that AP people had eno-ugh of corrupt and undemocratic rule of TD and time has come to give rest to Mr Naidu.
In his address, Anam Ramanarayana Reddy said that people in the state have been waiting for the leadership of Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy, while lauding him for the 13 months’ long Pada Yatra to understand the problems of the people. The former finance minister recalled as to how he and Mr Rajamohan Reddy had developed Atmakur segment as the MLA and MP in 2009.
He said the victory of YSRC nominee for Atmakur, Gautham Reddy is already written on the wall and it is necessary for the people to elect Rajamohan Reddy also as the MP. Mr Gautham Reddy and YSRC leaders Dr Adi Seshaiah and Anand Reddy were present, apart from large number of followers of Mekapati and Anam.
