MLA Anil criticises those leaving YSRC to join other parties
Anantapur: Political heat is building up in Nellore district following the suspension of two MLAs from the YSRC.
MLA and former minister Anil Kumar said those who were fearful of tasting defeat in general polls would leave the YSRC and join other parties, as “they are unable to appreciate the exclusive development and welfare programmes being undertaken by the government.”
He was apparently targeting the Nellore rural MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar. Anil observed that all the MLAs who won on YSRC tickets shouldn’t forget about the present government’s exclusive welfare programmes like schools development through Nadu Nedu and provision of health facilities through community health centres.
The former minister recalled that the present government had not wasted money in the name of roads and instead used money for the uplift of the poor.
