Vijayawada: Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan will meet rain-hit farmers in East Godavari districts on Wednesday. A statement from the Jana Sena office on Tuesday said the JS chief will visit areas that witnessed widespread crop damage due to untimely rains in the last few days and enquire with farmers about the quantum of crop damage they faced.
Pawan will be accompanied by the party’s Political Affairs Committee chairman Nadendla Manohar and other party leaders during his visit to the twin districts of Godavari.
Meanwhile, the Jana Sena leaders were visiting rain-hit farmers in several parts of the state. The party said that farmers have suffered huge losses and demanded the government compensate the farmers for their losses. The party also sought an immediate and accurate assessment of the extent of crop loss by the government.
