Hyderabad: The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) is to re-conduct the Group 1 examination on Sunday, after weeks of controversy over the leak of question papers and cancellation of the first edition of the recruitment test.
Students who have registered for the exam can download their hall tickets from the official website, tspsc.gov.in. Over 3 lakh aspirants have registered for the exam.
The TSPSC Group 1 preliminary exam was to be held on June 4 but was cancelled following the leak of the preliminary question paper. The assistant executive engineer (AEE) and divisional accounts officer (DAO) examinations too stood cancelled due to the paper leak.
The Telangana High Court, on Friday, had refused to stay the exam and had dismissed an appeal which sought its postpone considering that the fate of students hangs in balance and that the investigation into the paper leak was ongoing.
Security is being beefed at examination centres to ensure the exam is held smoothly.
