The rooms which cost Rs 1,000 are now available at Rs 999 to discharge GST

Tirupati: Tirumala Tirupati Devastanams (TTD) to execute GST from Monday. GST is applicable to all the rooms which cost above Rs 1,000. No change in room tariff for below Rs 1,000. The rooms which cost Rs 1,000 are now available at Rs 999 to discharge GST
TTD has released the room tariffs including GST on Sunday. Rooms ranging from Rs 1,000 –Rs 2,500 is charged with additional 12 per cent GST as per the guidelines of new tax regime and rooms above Rs 2,500 will be charged with 18 per cent GST TTD has modified the room rents to meet the round figures, as to find no difficulty for the return change.
