Graft charge against former RINL director

Prasad assured Naidu that he would provide jobs in a school under RINL management for which he was the chairman.

Visakhapatnam: Continuing his fight for justice, Siriki Appala Naidu lodged one more complaint with city police against former director of personnel, RINL, G.B.S. Prasad, who retired in December in 2016.

A resident of Vadlapudi rehabilitation Housing Colony, Appala Naidu, in his complaint to the city police chief, mentioned that Prasad had collected Rs 5 lakh through his associate U. Vijay Bhaskar, promising employment in the RINL.

Appala Naidu, who works as a security guard in NAD, came in contact with Prasad and sought employment for his brother-in-law Y. Jaggu Naidu, who is an ITI certificate holder and his wife Y. Hemavathi, who passed Intermediate.

Prasad assured Naidu that he would provide jobs in a school under RINL management for which he was the chairman. He also promised Naidu a security guard job in the school. The complainant claimed that Prasad demanded Rs 8 lakh for the three jobs.
