Detained tech students get a new chance by JNTU-Hyderabad
JNTU-H stated in a press release that students securing the required credits will be promoted to the second year.
Hyderabad: The JNTU-Hyderabad on Tuesday announced that it would conduct advanced supplementary exams from the last week of August for the 13,085 first-year engineering and pharmacy students who were detained for not getting sufficient credits.
JNTU-H stated in a press release that students securing the required credits will be promoted to the second year. They were asked to submit an undertaking to the effect that they would be prepared for detention if they do not get the required credits.
As per the regulations formulated for students who joined B.Tech and B.Pharmacy in 2015-16, each student should get 28 out of 56 credits to get promotion from the first to the second year.
