Mantris acting as transfer agents, says K S Eshwarappa
Mysuru: Senior BJP leader, K S Eshwarappa alleged on Thursday that state ministers were acting like commission agents in transfers of officers of all ranks. “Bribes are being taken for transfers of officers across the state. There has never been such huge corruption in transfers. Chief Minister Kumaraswamy cannot remain mum on this,” he said, speaking to reporters here as he began his three- day tour of the old Mysuru region ahead of local body and Lok Sabha elections.
On the claim of Minister D K Shivkumar that five teams of the BJP were trying to persuade JDS and Congress MLAs to join their party, he said, “Are Congress leaders so weak that they will just walk away at the invitation of the BJP? Luckily the BJP has lion- like MLAs. Let them dare touch any one of them! The coalition government will collapse on its own soon. People are waiting for the government of their choice and a BJP government will come to power in the state soon.”
Speaking at Chamarajnagar Mr Eshwarappa added, “a huge group of MLAs from the coalition government will join the BJP soon, and it will collapse in six months. “Hitting out at former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, he said although the entire world had accepted Prime Minister Narendra Modi, only he and Pakistan were not ready to do so.
