Vijayawada: Versatile actor and filmmaker Kamal Haasan unveiled the statue of superstar Krishna in Vijayawada on Friday at the KDGO Park in Guru Nanak Colony.
YSRC East constituency in-charge Devineni Avinash and Vijayawada deputy mayor Bellam Durga were present at the unveiling ceremony.
The Dasavathaaram actor is currently shooting his much-anticipated Indian-2 movie in Vijayawada.
On behalf of Krishna’s family, Devineni Avinash thanked Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy for extending his support in installing the statue of the late actor in Guru Nanak Colony. A large number of fans of both Krishna and his son Mahesh Babu were present.
