Hyderabad: Two months after announcing We-Hub, a start-up incubator exclusively for women entrepreneurs, IT minister K.T. Rama Rao said that it will be officially launched on International Women’s Day on March 8.
He was interacting with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) — Southern Regional Council Members on Saturday.
Mr Rao also announced that the government, in association with CII, will also launch a Manufacturing Excellence Centre. Besides, the government was in the process of formulating an electric vehicle policy and seek investments in the sector.
Mr Rao said, “Telangana government has worked extensively in the area of policy formulation, business reforms and ease of doing business over last 38 months. Telangana’s growth in IT exports is at 14 per cent which is 5 per cent above the national average and is one of the top five exporting states of India.”
