Hyderabad: The final rites of Dallas shooting victim Thatikonda Aishwarya’s final rites were performed at Nagole on Thursday. Her family members were accompanied by a large number of her relatives and friends, and members of the legal fraternity.
Aishwarya, daughter of Judge T. Narsi Reddy of the Ranga Reddy district court, was working as a project manager for a construction firm in Dallas. On May 6, when she was out shopping along with her friend at the Allen Mall when a gun-wielding local opened fire indiscriminately, killing Aishwarya and eight others. She was an alumni of the MVSR Engineering College.
Her mortal remains arrived in the city late on Wednesday night and were shifted to her home at Saroornagar on Thursday morning, where they remains were kept for a couple of hours for family and friends to pay their respects, before being shifted for the final rites.
