Satyavathi Rathod Gets KCR's Initials Engraved as a Display of Devotion in Warangal

Warangal: Tribal welfare minister Satyavathi Rathod on Saturday got the Chief Minister’s initials, KCR, engraved on her right arm at the tribal cultural celebrations held at Banjara Bhavan in Hyderabad.

Rathod, on the occasion, said that this shows her devotion towards K. Chandrashekar Rao.

The tattoo is the latest in a slew of acts put on by Rathod in the BRS’ quest for a hat-trick of poll wins. Around a year ago, Rathod had taken an oath to walk barefoot until Chandrashekar Rao won the elections for the third time, and is continuing to do so.

At Saturday’s event, the minister was inspecting various stalls when she came across one where traditional tattooing was being done by tribals.

The minister — despite being warned by the woman running the stall of possible pain — said that she wanted to get ‘KCR’ tattooed on her right hand as she was a big fan of the Chief Minister.

Rathod stood her ground, braving the pain, as the tribal artist worked to ink her. The minister got the engraving done, keeping her word to the artist.
