Vijayawada: The Supreme Court on Tuesday adjourned hearing on a batch of petitions on three capitals for Andhra Pradesh to December.
A division bench comprising Justices Sanjiv Khanna and Bela Trivedi heard the petitions in New Delhi.
When AP government’s counsel K.K. Venugopal prayed to the court to take up urgent hearing on the matter, the court pointed out that cases before the constitution benches have been listed up to November. It thus cannot take up hearing before December.
The bench observed that it will take up hearing in the case on full scale in December.
