Tirunelveli: Four persons drowned in the Tamirabharani river in Tirunelveli district, police said.
The four, hailing from Puducherry, who were identified as Vasantharaj, Satheesh, Nakkeeran and Seenivasan drowned while taking bath in the river. They were in the age group of 20-25 police said.
Meanwhile, police said the bodies of three persons from Chennai, who drowned in the river on Monday, have been retrieved on Tuesday.
