Tiruppur: The AIADMK MP from Tirupur, Sathyabama is caught in an embarrassing family row as her husband has alleged that she had drugged him, kept him in confinement and was conspiring to eliminate him.
The MP’s husband has circulated the recorded audio of his conversation with his wife on the What’sApp in support of his claim that he faced threat to his life. “If anything happens to me, my wife and MP, Sathyabama is solely responsible for it,” he said in that message.
The MP, however, has switched off her mobile phone and remains incommunicado. Efforts by the DC to get her response to the wild allegation of her husband did not yield result.
The MP’s husband claimed that he had given a complaint to the Chief Minister and the AIADMK supremo Jayalalithaa about the ‘torture’ he was undergoing at the hands of Sathyabama. However, no action was taken. “As she enjoys the support of state Ministers, no action is being taken against her,” Vasu told the media in Gobichettipalayam.
Vasu who is living in his elder sister’s house claimed that he had revealed the MP’s ‘torture’ to the media only to draw the attention of the Chief Minister.
When he took up the issue with the Gobi MLA K.A.Sengottaiyan, the MP had threatened him, he further alleged.
