'Vision 2030' Envisions Quality, Affordable Healthcare in TS
Hyderabad: Former chief secretary of Telangana, Somesh Kumar, and the chief adviser to the Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, released a report titled 'Vision 2030: Quality and Affordable Health for All' by the Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI) in Telangana state. Others present at the event included Anil Agarwal, president of FTCCI, and Dr Subodh Kandamuthan, dean of training programmes at ASCI, who also presented several healthcare awards.
Dr Subodh Kandamuthan from ASCI, the knowledge partner for the Vision 2030 document, mentioned that they provided 15 recommendations. He stated that the document was developed through interviews with hundreds of professionals, 15 panel discussions, and consultations with 17 allopathy departments and three Ayush departments.
The purpose of the document is to propose solutions for patient-centric, accessible, affordable, and quality healthcare for all citizens in Telangana, with like-minded individuals as associate partners. It focuses on addressing equity, disparity, and patient concerns, with an emphasis on prevention, promotion, better health and well-being, and the creation of a patient-friendly environment. The goal is to improve awareness and trust in the public healthcare system, aiming for Telangana to become the best health destination and medical hub, said Shekhar Agarwal.
