Hyderabad: Most Pandals buy Laddus from Mohsin
Hyderabad: A number of Ganesha mandalies in Chandrayangutta and neighbouring areas prefer to purchase laddus from a Muslim sweetshop.
Mr Mohsin bin Mohammed of Huma Sweets at Chandrayangutta Cross Road said they are preparing special laddus to be offered at Ganesha Mandali. Every year they sell about three quintals of laddu.
He said people belong to Chandryangutta and Maisaram used to purchase laddus exclusively from his shop. He said they prepared laddus on order and this year sold a laddu weighing 30 kg for a Ganesha mandali in Maisaram.
He said his father Mr. Mohammed bin Salam established the shop and started preparing the special laddu during the Ganesha season 40 years ago.
For the Ganesha festival, they prepare two types of laddu i.e. motichur ke laddu and moti bundi ke laddu mixing dry fruits.
