Bhadrachalam: Nearly 10,000 children from four states — Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Karnataka, participated in a three-day Balostavam held at the Bhadrachalam temple.
The children participated in Kuchipudi, Bharatanatyam, Perini, story analysis, painting, tribal and folk dances, mono action, and other events. The Balostavam was organised by the cultural department of the government along with the help of ITC-Bhadrachalam, TANA and TP Trust.
The temple town was spruced up for the event and temporary sheds were put up at the Junior college.
K. Aparna from Karnataka said, “I bagged a prize for my dance performance. I am taking back with me good memories from the temple town”.
