Hyderabad: The Regional Passport Office will set up special counters for processing passport applications of Haj aspirants from Telangana state that are forwarded through the TS Haj Committee, according to a statement released by Regional Passport Officer Jonnalagadda Snehaja on Monday. The online processing of applications through the Haj Committee which had started on December 4 will conclude on December 20. The applicants will need a passport that is valid until January 31, 2025, to travel to Saudi Arabia for the pilgrimage. Special counters will be opened at the RPO Secunderabad, on December 13, 15 and 18. It reiterated that the counters will only process passport applicants that are routed through TS Haj Committee. Snehaja, urged the applicants to utilise this opportunity.
