Kavitha: KCR is bhola shankarudu
Nizamabad: MP K. Kavitha on Saturday said that Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has turned Telangana Bhola Shankarudu by giving sops to people of various sections.
“KCR has waived Rs 800 crore water tax for farmers in the state,” she said. Ms Kavitha, along with MLAs took part in Rythu Bandhu programme in Nizamabad district on Saturday.
Speaking at the meetings, the MP said that the Chief Minister being a farmer himself, could understand the problems faced by the community.
She said that financial aid to the 58 lakh farmers in Telangana state may be a Guinness World Record. After purification of land records, officials directly handed over the passbooks to farmers at their doorstep, she said.
Ms Kavitha said that Unicef came forward to take up pilot project for providing basic amenities in schools of Nizamabad district soon.
Bodhan MLA Shakeel, TRS senior leader Pothangal Kishan Rao, TSREDCO chairman S.A. Aleem, Bodhan municipal chairman Yellaiah and others were present.
